Nov. 19th, 2009 09:03 pmBoth my hands hurt - a kitten bit clean through a finger on my left hand trying to steal a treat from another cat and somehow I managed to fold a nail across the quick on my right hand. (And yes, here I am typing. I said I was hurting, not that I'm sensible.) Also, totally unready for ChicagoTARDIS and kind of freaking out about how much needs to be done.
On the good side, I've also got bus tickets to NYC on 12/12 to see the windows and look at the street fairs, so I've got that coming up.
Caster Semenya will keep her 800-meter gold medal from the world championships.
Neil Gaiman weighs in on the Jessamine Public Library situation: So my thoughts of a library in Kentucky firing two librarians who restricted reading materials to a child? I think the library did the right thing. And I think they should get their book back from the lady who stole it.
