The Battle of Dovecote Crest has a syndicated feed page.

LJ has a page for adding syndicated feeds (scroll to bottom) if you are a paid member, which I am.

So why can't I manage to make an LJ feed for Dovecote Crest? Help please.

Catwatch question - do people actually want to know what I'm doing every day to try to get Mulder, or just want to know if/when he comes back?

Don't know why I needed to ask - I automatically assume that someone out there could care about my housecleaning plans, and there are a lot more cat lovers out there than people who like to organize!

I'm not going to print "we thought it was... but it wasn't" or much about sightings - like I've said earlier, saying it is almost as bad as going through it. Nor will I pass on the "well wishers" who say things about foxes or bodies in the street 10 miles from here. (Both have happened. He runs when he hears cars, so I can't imagine that less than a week later he'd be miles away walking up a major roadway).

But I will print what I'm doing.

Flyers posted )

We've also filed official or unofficial lost reports at the emergency night vet, the county pound, and the shelters to either side of us. If anyone reading this is in Annapolis (you know who you are) - could you check with your emergency vet, see if anyone brought in a dun tabby over the last six days?

We have also - and I feel if anyone sees him from flyers, it'll be these guys - told the local postmen. (Not being sexist, they really are all guys.) Our local guy has been keeping his eye out all along; I caught up today with his counterpart in the town home/condo complex to the west, where there was a sighting. If it really was Mulder and he continues moving west, he's going to end up in a sizeable state park and we will only be able to hope that he turns around. Nobody could search that.

Tonight's plan: Setting and baiting a live trap, as putting a nesting box on the porch hasn't lured him in. Spraying. (Y'all can go check comments from when he was first reported missing; I'm not going to go into the details. But WTF, I'll try anything.)

Live trap experiment #1 )

Tomorrow's plans: Another flyer round, pushing further to the east and restoring the ones just in front of and behind the school. Assembling a complete list of vets in a 10-mile radius so M and I can split calling on Monday.
