House redecorating post

First - anyone have any good sources for drawer pulls? I'd like to have more of an option than the basics at Lowes and Target.


Second - wish me luck. I looked at the time I set aside to do the pantry (6 weeks) and the time I thought it would really take (6-8 hard days) and decided to paint and reorganize the kitchen cabinets as well.

Without changing the goal deadline.


Third - for anyone actually following the redecoration/reorganization saga, the original set of double goals has proven unworkable. I can work on a large goal (redoing a room) and a small goal (winnowing down all that back email) at one time. I cannot work on two large goals simultaneously (health/exercise and redecoration). The time I should be working out, I'm working on the room, and the time I should be researching recipes, I'm researching colors and decorating schemes.

In fact, I'm slipping so badly that I'm reverting to eating a lot of takeout. But I've so far met all my redecorating deadlines...

The Good & the Ugly

I'll start with the ugly to get it over with: An American citizen has already been arrested for Driving While Latino in AZ: he showed his driver's license and quoted his Social Security Number, but was kept in handcuffs until his wife showed up with his Social Security card and his birth certificate.

Y'know, I qualify to be a member of DAR, but it turns out I couldn't prove to Arizona officials that I'm even a citizen.
