I seem to have injured myself in Stratford. There were the couple of times I'd lift my leg and for a nanosecond there were stabbing pains in my ankle, but I just thought it was walking too much. There was the time I rolled onto my ankle while walking, but I didn't fall over, and my ankle didn't even hurt as I walked away.
I don't know which of those, or both, or neither are contributing to the problem, but now my right foot and ankle are a balloon. Not a painful balloon, fortunately, unless I've got my ankle at a weird angle while, say, driving, but things feel generally stiff and stuffed. I had marks from my sandal yesterday, so I wore tighter elastic shoes to act as a bandage today, to no effect. It's the edema from hell.
Sooooo... anybody got any bright ideas, because I'm fresh out? It's too late to RICE, because I walked a couple miles and drove for about 8 hours without treatment.
