The Deductive Determination Sherlock crossed with Big Bang Theory. Do I really need to say more?
From the meme, the funniest thing I have read. All. Year. What if Moriarty had kidnapped Mycroft instead of John in The Great Game? Drinks warning. So, so, very much a drinks warning.
Character
At first I didn't take to this one, but then I was compelled to reread it about three times: Assume The Perpendicular, in which John finds out just how creepy Mycroft's idea of giving Sherlock a happy birthday is.
This is kind of a highlights fic rather than a story, even a character story. But the highlights are all absolutely dead on. The Frailty of Genius
Well, All Righty Then (Because I don't know what else to call these)
From the meme: An intriguing AU in which Sherlock is fey (not that way). It does explain the beauty, the petulance, and the devotion to John. The Letter of the Lore (Don't let me being silly put you off. This is a strong story that really does rather explain a lot about Sherlock!)
I couldn't figure out if I wanted to put this under smut or character or crack because it's all of them - the latest entry in the "Sherlock decides to distract John from finding sex outside Baker Street" genre, the 19-part The Road Less Traveled (link to first). It can be OOC, it is howlingly funny, but it also has an actual plot so it's never PWP.
