Sherlock Fic Recs
Feb. 27th, 2011 03:42 pmIt's odd - I feel like I've been drowning in tides of Sherlock fic between making up for lost time during Gally and following the convo of someone asking for recs.
And yet... I'm passing on three. Go figure.
But before I get to the Sherlock stuff, I'm doing a reminder that
spiderine has started Gonzo bread to pay for classes and a professional upgrade to her kitchen. There's now an Etsy store to make ordering easier. The apple and onion bread sounds divine.
On to the fic! We've got:
Smut: Best Laid Plans Yet another entry in the "Sherlock seduces John to keep John from dating" genre. I like it because it's one where John isn't having a sexual crisis... but Sherlock keeps getting surprised, even though it's all his idea.
Discworld Crossover! Sherlock + Death of Rats = Instant Win. Of Just Deserts. (If you don't know from Discworld, don't bother, it won't make sense. If you do... John has been waiting in the desert for Sherlock to join him.)
For the Shakespeare Geeks: The Game's Afoot The author admits that there's little plot; it's a quick scene while we wait for the action to begin in which they discuss Shakespeare; still, it's really a must for the Henry V fans particularly. The last line makes it.
