Devastated
Nov. 24th, 2011 12:26 pmI just found out that I'm paying almost $1000 to attend ChicagoTARDIS and not one single guest I really wanted to see is attending. No Alex Kingston, no Toby Haydoke, now no Ben Aaronovitch and I was looking forward to him most of all so I could talk about the Peter Grant series.
Not feeling real thankful right now. Frankly, I hope I can stop crying before I get to the airport.
ETA: This is NOT the "fault" of ChicagoTARDIS or the people who've worked so hard to put it on. Guests do what guests do; I've been concom enough to know that sometimes shit just happens. The remaining guest list is going to rock, esp. for people who didn't get to see the Davison/Fielding teamup in Feb.
Frankly, now that I've calmed down a bit, I'm blaming 2011 for taking its last shot to bugger me without lube. I may have accomplished a lot this year, but it's still been a contender for Worst Year Of My Life.
