OH FRABJOUS DAY!!!!!ELEVENTY1!!
Mar. 13th, 2012 11:54 amI *just* got the call from my main credit union: they have approved my new credit card for the amount I wanted... and without stipulating that I cancel Discover "in case you change your mind."
(I'm in an office with plate glass windows on 2 sides; I'm sure to notice if any pigs fly by.)
I've probably got about three more years to kill the unsecured debt totally, but right now I'm too squee-ful to care. OMG, I've waited for this day for So! Long! The day the for-emergencies-only card gets activated is the day I call Discover and tell them precisely what they can do, followed by a certified letter. Not that there's much they can do to me now, what with that glorious bill of $0.00.
