neadods: (wtf)
So, I've finally watched the latest Elementary. And for all of the "you have to at least see it before you beat on it" folks, I just want to point out I've seen every single episode. And at this point, I am finding entertainment in it... unfortunately, it's the entertainment of "can these plots get any more ludicrous?"

Well, I don't think we can beat this week's plot for sheer WTFery. )

On the other hand, I'd love to see the follow-up crossover episode of Law and Order: You Must Be Fucking Kidding Me. Because any lawyer still wet behind the years from law school could shred spoilers, sweetie )

So, anyway, I've watched Elementary. I've watched past the premiere to see how the show settles out. And y'know what? Calling Mr. Elementary "the new Sherlock Holmes" is like calling Bridget Jones "the new Elizabeth Bennet." You can say it all you damn well want, but it's the difference between chalk and cheese.

And I'm not blaming JLM. I'm blaming the scriptwriters, who seriously, seriously need to adjust their meds.
