Prepping for Malice Domestic
Apr. 26th, 2013 03:15 pmMalice Domestic has their tentative schedule up, and it's packed to the gills with great panel ideas... all up against each other, of course!
In previous years, I'd pick one and then load up my ipod with the recordings of the panels I'd missed, but they don't seem to be doing that anymore - I never received any notice of last year's panels if they came out on .mp3. A real pity, that. It was a great way of keeping up.
To be honest, though, I'm really ambivalent about one of the panels. Giving New Life To Another Author's Characters has both Carole Nelson Douglas and Laurie R King on it, which means that they're going to be doing duelling Doyle, and I'm not wildly sure I'm up for that. As the same timeslot *also* has When Music and Painting Lead to Murder," "They Fight Fires and Detect Liars: Unusual Sleuths," and "Cold Cases" (and that's just the ones I've marked as interesting, there are more), I'm spoilt for alternatives.
On the other hand, if I don't go, I'm going to wonder what was said...
