Time for a new holiday tradition

Due to furlough, I can come the weekend before and leave Christmas day or arrive Christmas eve and leave the weekend after.

Thing is, my Mother isn't even *trying* to get me to come Christmas eve; she's treating it as a done deal that I'll drive up Christmas day. And... I'm cool with that. Beats the hell out of arguing whether I need to drag my atheist ass to Christmas Eve service, which may be her reasoning right there.

So that leaves me Christmas Eve to do as I please. Time for a new tradition! Suggestions?
