Having the proof of what we already really knew - the USA officially tortured people.
Having the proof that the torture was even more inhuman than we feared.
Having Dick Cheney and the Fox Brigade defend their Jack Bauer boners by loudly insisting that Might Makes Right and that it's the revelation of the war crimes that makes the country unsafe and not the commission of them.
