I was lucky enough not to be frontlines in either the B&tB or B7 wars, and quietly retreated from the collapse I saw coming in FK fandom, remembering the catastrophic response to the aforementioned fandoms (but which everyone insisted "wouldn't happen here"...gee, Cassandra in Troy, much? I HATE being Cassandra).
But, yeah...this totally covers it and, yeah...it's upsetting every time, looking back, even as a far-off bystander who saw little tidbits of each from far, far away. I can't imagine what it must be for someone who was at Ground Zero. *hugs*
