I'll be explaining it a bit more in the resolutions post on Thursday, but basically, the homekeeping group has collectively resolved to give away/sell/pitch/freecycle one item per day all year long, and we're posting our results weekly over there.
The person who came up with it calls it The Seven Items Project; I've dubbed it the Sunday Seven because that's when I report on the community. Also, easier to type.
