neadodsFinally got to wander through a mall today - a surprisingly pleasant experience, since there weren't a lot of people there even though the stores were open in the early morning to catch the Christmas trade. shawan_7's advice, came home with two lovely jackets (teal and burgandy) and a classic white embroidered blouse, all on massive discounts. Admittedly, for CC that means from the outrageously expensive to the vaguely affordable, but still. They're good for any occasion where one would want to dress to impress, and one of my future goals is to slowly remake my wardrobe in shades of teal, green, blue, bronze, burgandy, copper, dark brown, tan, and cream.
Step #2 is to get shoes: I was unsuccessful there, but the catalogs will hopefully provide.
Step #3 is to deal with hands and face. I may laugh at Boots being called a British emporium, but their Mediterranean body butter is fab. It's nearing the end of December and I haven't turned into a lizard yet.
Which leaves the face, and the question: What makeup do you swear by - or swear at? I know that some things can be done on the cheap - makeup remover is just mineral oil, water, and perfume, easy enough to blend at home for pennies - but which makeup brands are worth the price (or just as good as the expensive ones?)
