I have my answer on that, unfortunately - I was just listening to something else that I downloaded for the trip that I know is on a clean CD, and it just skipped too. Bugger. The drive must be failing.
There Are Ways of dealing with the issue - I've got other drives, although iTunes won't recognize them, and I've got mp3 conversion software, so I should still be able to import clean copies with a couple of extra steps.
But that's not going to help my carefully crafted playlist right now, damnit! And the most annoying thing is I'd been carefully saving three months of Big Finish's releases as a treat for the long drive!
*sigh* Well, at least the brand new Martha Mix should play fine, even if it now won't serve as an introduction to Wetworld.
