ETA: Can anyone explain, in very simple words, how I get my comments to thread again? It's disconcerting that they're all at the same level. I have no idea what I switched off or on; they used to thread.

Meme making the rounds: Name three fics you think I will never, ever, ever write. In return, I will attempt to write a snippet of one of them.

The inevitable pairing - if Donna kept investigating weird stories, and we already know that Sarah Jane investigates weird stories: Donna Noble Investigates

(There is what has all the earmarks of a fabulous fic starting at [livejournal.com profile] dark_aegis' place, but I'm not going to rec until it's finished.)

What I love about the YouTube era is that it gives people who weren't at cons more than just words to go by. I've had a taste of the Rift con, and now can pass on a general overview of M*W (with lots of shots of door decorations) and one of the reasons why the art auction is worth going to even if you're not bidding.

I will never, ever write the bizzare three-way MPreg where in the Doctor has the baby of both Jack and Ianto.

I will never, ever write the crossover between Torchwood/Who and Babylon 5 wherein Jack discovers exactly why it's a good thing that the Centauri have six.

I will never, ever write the sex!gas in the hub story where the gas only affects the women and Gwen, Tosh, Martha and any other women I can get into the hub get it on. :)

Have fun. :)

Ha! I would *totally* write #2.

#3 - the name suggests that the pterodactyl is also female. Do you want to change those parameters, or am I going to hint at some MAJOR crackfic? :D

re #2: Oh please?

re #3: knock yourself out. I'm good with the crack. :p

#2 - give me until the weekend; I'm about to head to bed.

#3 - give me until I get a little loopy on the weekend...

I will never, ever write the crossover between Torchwood/Who and Babylon 5 wherein Jack discovers exactly why it's a good thing that the Centauri have six.

I've been trying and trying to turn this into a story and all I really get out of it was "Jack didn't mind that he had one and they had six. What he minded was that theirs were prehensile!"

Or possibly "It was like naked wrestling in a vat of eels."

LOL! Exactly! Jack would be SO envious of the card trick dick. :)

Your journal's threading for me ... I think your style uses an image (http://p-stat.livejournal.com/palimg/component/clear.gif) to indent comments, so if they're all showing flat, maybe check to make sure you haven't blocked that image accidentally? (I've seen it happen with adblock-type things.) ...also, this is unlikely, but check the URL for view=flat (and if it's there, remove it)

This journal threads for me as well, when I look at it in her default style. (In my default style, I've got a little widget above the comments area that allows me to click it and the screen refreshes with it flat and a new button comes up that allows me to return it to "tree format", but that is in *my style* and I don't see that functionality in hers.)

Maybe I need a new style? It's been a while, but I'm comfortable with this one. Except for the threading, which seems to work for everyone *but* me!

Threading for me, too.

1. Nine/Six porn.

2. Harry Saxon's wife is actually Sarah Jane Smith.

3. Rose/Ten romantic, happy-ever-after fic - with tiembabiez.

Enjoy!

#2 is WAAAAAAAAYYYYYY too depressing to even contemplate. The others... I head to work in about 15 minutes and LJ is blocked there, so let me see what I can come up with tonight.

Barbara and Ian become Jenny's companions.
