However, a considerable percentage of Freema-haters probably = Ten/Rose batchippers, and a considerable percentage of Ten/Rose batchippers probably = fangirls with some racial issues, which was the point I was trying to make.
I'm REALLY not looking forward to seeing how Yasmin Paige's replacement on SJA is treated by fandom. As much as I love love LOVE Maria (and her dad, who serves as my proxy in my fantasies of fucking Sarah Jane), as long as she's given a respectful send-off (DO NOT WANT ALAN AND CHRISSIE GETTING BACK TOGETHER), then I won't hold it against the new girl, and I hope that other fans will be similarly charitable.
And yet, I swear, I can already hear the racial epithets being hurled her way ... :(
