She's only an asset to McCain's campaign if you're running on a solid platform of babies, bibles, and bullets - which he *is,* but that's also 180 degrees from his last campaign (cute hoor indeed, and reason enough not to vote for him. Just what the hell DOES he stand for in the end?)
And indeed, it looks like the evangelicals are suddenly much happier with him... but they are not, as they like to think, American kingmakers. Especially after the disaster of the last king crowned by them.
