I'm not bothered by the sniffing about "nobody over the age of 22 should [kiss] in public" because I felt the same way at their age.
That was obviously a case where the character was not representing the opinions of the creators, not in the least because Daniel Anthony, who plays Clyde, is exactly 22 years old IRL.
What's your take on the little debate I've inadvertently started with persiflage_1, though? Is Sarah Jane's line about never having loved anyone before Peter meant to imply that she's earned her white wedding dress, or did she just have "zipless fucks" in the meantime, to borrow Erica Jong's term?
