Speaking of Shakespeare, are you familiar with Playing Shakespeare? It was an educational TV series made back in 1984 with John Barton of the RSC directing a bunch of well-known British actors, including Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, and apparently Judi Dench, although I haven't gotten to the episode she features in. The show was released on DVD about 6 months back; I just got the first disc from Netflix, and I am enchanted.
