If you go through the hotel website, you can get the $149 rate mentioned on the Gally site *and* you don't have to prepay, the way you do if you go through Travelocity.

I'm a bit sorry about paying an extra $50 a day when I'm coming in early, but it beats the alternative, I guess. I can keep asking if rooms open up in the convention slot.
