A full post later, because I do have some stuff I want to pass on. But because this is so gleefully silly that it shouldn't wait:

Quick Like a Bunny. In which Mrs. Hudson is so fed up with the way Sherlock rips up her house that she hires the (American) Queer Eye for the Straight Guy crew to fix it, because they'll do it for free if they can film it.

He might have been sleepy, but he was still a soldier, and on top of that, being the flatmate of one of the most dangerous and oddly-wired men in London ensured that John was never completely off-guard. Still, five men and a person of indeterminate gender with a portable video camera on his doorstep made him take a step back.

All five of the men were smiling at him, gleaming sets of American teeth; it was like shark week right there in his flat.

On a related note: does anyone in the fandom write Watson/Sarah? (I know this is highly unlikely, but thought I'd ask).

I don't know about exclusive writers of Watson/Sarah, but I've seen a couple of stories where they actually get together. If you search "John/Sarah" through a couple back pages of holmesian_news, you should catch a few.

Okay, so I couldn't pass up the story, even though I hadn't watched any of the episodes. So then of course I had to go find the episodes.

Are there just 3 episodes in the series? Or is it in hiatus?

It just seems like a lot of fan fiction about a series with only 3 episodes.

Believe it, there are only the three episodes. There will be three more next fall.

I figure Sherlock fandom is like movie fandom - there were gallons of Star Wars fic back when there was only the one or two movies. And, of course, people can pad it out with original Doyle cannon.
