Dogs and Cats, living together
There isn't much mass hysteria, but Micky has managed to cram herself into a 3" cubic area under Mo's bed.
Setup very easy - friend out of town, two dogs (one with medical conditions) needing to be taken care of. It just seemed easier at the time to take the dogs into my house rather than see them only twice a day for tiny increments of time.
The resident cats, however, aren't too fond of this notion. I barricaded them upstairs, only to find that DB had promptly jumped the gate and was lying down in the library when a pair of keeshonds 5 times his size swept by.
He was pretty unimpressed. Being DB he didn't get hysterical; he didn't do anything except glare daggers at them until they actually noticed his presence. Then he hissed and let us pick him up and lob him back up the stairs. I think he preferred to be picked up - it let him maintain the image of "I could take you, you pansy puffball! This is my territory! If only these humans hadn't interfered, then you'd know my wrath!"
Then, philosophical beast that he is, he hopped up on Mo's bed and let himself be petted into a purring frenzy.
Micky, unphilosophical beast, did her damnedest to build a black hole and pull it in after her, but at least she hasn't come downstairs.
In the meantime, the dogs are also somewhat dubious about the whole proceeding, especially after "Mom" left, but they're behaving. Even if one of them tripped me this morning as I was trying to walk 'em.
The Stubborn Schizophrenic VCR
Yesterday, my VCR set itself an hour forward. We reset it.
This morning, it reset itself again.
