I truly look forward to the day that my life ceases to be a cheap, unconvincing soap opera.
That day is not today. The tire pressure light was still on, I arrived at my appointment, I asked to see the manager, and the answer to "why do I keep paying you to work on my tire" was "The only tire we *haven't* worked on is the right rear one." In other words, it's not that their fix isn't taking, it's that my tires are hitting their limit one at a time.
So today ended up costing me another $200.
*sigh*
I'm at home, because I'm also tired and stressed and couldn't do decent work if I tried. While I'm here and I'm having a terrible day, I'm going to get the bills paid.
It hasn't been entirely horrible. I enjoyed the Mycroft; my last run to the Book Thing was the best haul *ever* - knitting books! Lots of knitting books, and I got there first! - and I even got some stuff for other people. Most importantly, I have saved enough that I can make it through February (the half paycheck month).
But ARGH!!! If ever a day was made for running around in your jammies eating chocolate, this one was. And yes, that's also on the agenda.
