On a completely different topic, I conducted a successful experiment today by shoving a baking potato in beside the cooking pot roast (I mean beside the pot, not inside the pot with the actual roast). 5.5 hours later, it was perfectly baked. I shouldn't have tried to eat the fresh pot roast with it, though - roast, like stew, is better the next day. Especially because you can defat the sauce.

As I dislike carrots, no. There are carrots in the dried soup greens, though.
