The fic I've got is all up on Teaspoon, so it's archived - it's recipes and tech advice that I'd like to keep, mostly. (If I can upload by tag, I'll be happy to do so; I don't feel a huge need to keep random stuff I wrote when I first came online.
I have a lifetime membership at LJ (not to mention the comm and all the Holmes comms; I'll have to see what's here.) But it's starting to look like LJ's lifetime may soon be over; time to archive and be ready-ish to shift.
Arg, and it looks as though the wait is going to be a little longer: one of DWth's tech support peeps is apparently saying that LJ's security settings have been treating LJ export to DWth as being like a DoS action and denying it.
Definitely worthwhile having DWth as an alternative routing though. (I wonder if the unfortunate Russian activist whose LJ seems to be the apparent rationale for the botnet attacks is on Twitter?)
I've been thinking - there's actually little that I'd cosmically "lose" if I simply treated the switchover as the result of a computer crash (arguably exactly what's happening) and only salvaged what I found worth manually copying over.
Does the world actually need to archive, say, Saturday Sherlock, or what I had to say about Malice Domestic 4 years ago?
