Another Elementary, another insanely, unworkably complex plan. I can think of three ways the baddie could have gotten away with it, not to say that he won't yet, because a good lawyer can blow holes in their lack of concrete proof.

And I really wanted to like Joan, but tonight I kind of wanted to hit her with a brick.

I have been watching Elementary because I've sent a pitch for an article about modern Watsons, and thus needed to thoroughly know all the modern Watsons.

I did think it might be him but I dodn't understand why it actually eas him. I just thought it would be because it made telly sense for the man with the terminally sick wife to be doing it

I rarely "get" the villains because frankly their motivations and execution are flimsy, loaded with potential failure points, and often require victims to behave opposite to their own interests. It's not a finely tuned puzzle, it's a Rube Goldberg machine.

I watched one ep. of Elementary and that was enough for me. Between lecturing the NTSB about a plane crash (the cause would have been pretty obvious to them) and being a total rat bastard to Watson (I don't think anyone nowadays gets that relationship - it's not supposed to be all putdowns all the time) I figure I don't have to see any more.
