Batman Begins - I keep typing "Batman Beyond" which... not quite - but anyway, Batman Begins rocks twice as much as people say it does. It's been a long time since I sat in a theater at the end of a movie and wanted to say through the next show too.

I do think that Our Hero in the early parts looked quite a lot like a young Christopher Reeve; I was actually startled when he didn't fly at one point. And the poofy-lipped 12-year-old playing Dr. Crane made me think "Smallville!" everytime he nanced onto the screen and pursed those red, red Angela Jolie lips. As opposed to a moment later on when the 12-year-old Assistant DA did something that really reminded me of a moment in Pratchett's Hogfather.

More later, when I stop burbling.

And in other *twitch* moments... the MS Fantasy Ball has some major, major raffle prizes rolling in. Specially designed jewelry. Full nobles garb. $500 coupons. A Myfi.

Golly, I hope the book baskets make a good showing...

I'm just glad I'm not the only one on the planet convinced that Cillian Murphy and Tom Welling were separated at birth. It distracted me all through 28 Days Later. Less so in this, tho, mostly because I barely recognized him with more hair and a bit more meat on his bones.

Your baskets sound like a good price, Nea. THey should do well -- I wonder if some of the others might seem like too much.
