I just got a call from the Tri-County fence guy (he's on the property doing estimates to replace a rotting fence). "What's that noise?" he asked me. "Is that cicadas? Man, they're loud!"

And yes they were - because I could hear them over his phone!

Y'know, if you look at one side of the packaging, I'm having a great, healthy lunch: 270 calories, 3 grams of protein, fiber, potassium, 100+% vitamin C... But somehow I don't think the "cheddar popcorn and OJ" diet will really take off.
