I Love My Boss

I love my boss. I'm trying to figure out if it's professional to send her wine, cheese, and roses, I love my boss so much right now.

Basically, I juggle a lot of little bits of data that have to be sorted through and spit back in a specific order (much like the SL database). As in Shore Leave, what I want to do is to put at least the big ticket items into a d-base, to not only print out what we want, but to be able to sort through the information.

I have mentioned this before at work, a couple of times (pre working for this boss) and told "yeah, that would be nice sometimes." Today, I mention it to her, and before I've drawn my next breath, she's gone to make it so, complete with meeting times and goal dates set.

And I get to stop doing the boring thing that I didn't want to do and instead make the thing that is going to make everyone's lives much calmer. HUZZAH!! *bounce*bounce*bounce*

Just listened to possibly the most interesting class in all of the courses so far - Victorian Britain and the American Civil War. Fascinating.

( Parents are so deflatingly practical. )
