Got to bed late and was badly insomniac to boot... but still got up early and did the damned exercise tape. (I may end up doing treadmill at that time, but the tape is better for my knees, so I feel I ought to do it as much as possible.) Then had nice healthy breakfast of oatmeal bread and yogurt.
The practical upshot of all this dedication is that I feel like I've been scraped off the bottom of a shoe, and would just about kill for a chance to go back to bed. Or eat eggs. Or both.
In the meantime, my car and my cat are both defective. The car went from "is it pulling to the left?" to "If I don't lean on the wheel it's moving to the left lane" so it's going to have to go back into the shop. Probably tomorrow, after I've had enough sleep to cope with the concept of another go-around.
DB... I don't know what it is with DB. Age? His left shoulder clicks whenever he moves that leg; walking, being petted, etc. But he shows no signs of pain and has made several jumps, including one from the floor up to the arm of his favorite chair *instead* of the clear and easier path of to the seat of the chair and then climbing up on the arm. I don't know if I should take him to the vet now, or if there's nothing we can do until he stops being butch and needs pain meds.
I need pain meds. My arm hurts. I haven't done anything to it, but it's hurting. Feh.

travels_in_time. Spoilers for Doctor Who's "Doomsday" episode and Torchwood's "Cyberwoman" episode. While Ianto is clearing out the rubble from what had been his place of employment, the new head of Torchwood moves in. (Not slashy, for those overwhelmed by the tsunami of Jack/Ianto).
