Sunday not-7
Feb. 3rd, 2008 06:52 amWell, I knew this week would come, although not quite so fast. I have done *nothing* regarding the Sunday 7, nor have I done any of the maintenance/housecleaning jobs due at the turn of the month, nor have I yet done what I promised. (Sorry Meer - reading tonight!) The only reason I got even a single block done on the knitalong was because I took it along on metro rides, because I didn't have the patience to stay long at the sit-and-knit at Tangled Skein.
However, this is not the same as not having accomplished anything. During the week, I applied to two jobs, went on three interviews, wrote all the applicable cover letters/filled out all the applicable paperwork - and there's lots and lots of paperwork! - and made the appropriate follow-up calls. Yesterday I went to a home show, signed up for lots of free estimates, figured out how I'm going to solve the leaking shower without having to rip the bathroom out (even though I secretly still want to), and spent a few fun hours at Chort's pirate feast. (Coincidentally finding the perfect feast gear/basket combo where everything fits neatly. Huzzah!)
Today there's another home show, and I need to do some of the cleaning, and I promised to edit Meer's story.
So I've been a bit too busy to deal with the Sunday 7!
In honor of everyone who is stuck not doing what they planned to do, a funky YouTube video of a performance art thing where 203 people froze in place in Grand Central Station for 5 minutes (Video about 2 minutes long.)
