"MI 13: We investigate the out of the ordinary, the unexplained, the downright weird."

I bought all three of the Scarifyer CDs in England, on the basis that if I loved 'em I'd never find them again and crossed my fingers that I wouldn't hate them. Today I listened to the first two.

Instant fan! Full review to follow; I'm giving Unreality SF the right of first refusal. (And my fingers still ache from typing up that huge review last night.)

[livejournal.com profile] persiflage_1 who discovered 'em first gets to welcome a new soul for the faith. Pers, did you know that there are 3 mini episodes for free download on the website? And there's another full audio coming out sometime this year, The Curse of the Black Comet? (If Cosmic Hobo doesn't ship to America, I'm totally sucking up to you to send me one.)

Also - you can grab this icon if you want it. I know you were looking for one.

Phear the wooden boobies! Priest curses statue that he considers risque. (I'm straight enough to think she has a lovely face. Okay, and a balcony you could do Shakespeare off of.)

It's the return of Lady Sybill! In an interview for a Brazilian website, she finally shows a dim grasp of reality regarding her Twilight ripoff. To wit: I realized I’d never get away with selling it, so I gave refunds to all the Ebay buyers... no attorney will defend me if I decide to publish.

On the other hand, the LOLs are still coming. This isn't mere fanfic after all, because I believe I have more training and education than the average fanfic writer, so that’s the only reason I wanted to release it as a book. Anybody have a couple of hours so I can list all the "average fanfic writers" who turned pro, especially the ones who write licensed tie-in books? Tie-ins *from the same universe* even?

And her grasp of copyright is still just as entertaining as it was when she started: the whole issue with the fans is they have been shown a way they never knew about, why can’t fans make money off the universe they feed?

Maybe because it's legally and morally the same as making money by selling the contents of the purse you just stole?
