Reviews, and NYC
Jun. 7th, 2009 08:06 amMy reviews for Angel's Advocate and Death and the Lit Chick are up on Reviewing the Evidence. Unreality SF has my reviews for Doctor Who: Loups Garoux and Sapphire and Steel: The School.
Today is going to be a flurry of catching up, as I spent ( all of yesterday in Noo Yawk Citeh )
hhertzof, I hope you feel better today! Considering that marathon hike, it's probably best you stayed in bed!
And now, to catch up, write belated reviews, do laundry, and generally be a productive adult.
ETA: Seen in the bookstores, of possible interest:
- The Dirt on Clean by Katherine Ashebury. A history of personal sanitation.
- The Washingtons of Wessyngton Plantation by John Baker. The plantation ran for generations and the Wessyngtons didn't sell their slaves, leaving the slave families and family lore intact. Thus Baker has been able to reconstruct his own family history up to Emancipation.
