If you have a Discover card, please note that they're playing games with you. Again.
First they signed me up against my wishes for credit insurance, adding a sizable fee to my bill that was erased after four phone calls, but never, despite what I was promised, refunded.
Now they've moved everyone's due dates forward this month. EVERYONE'S. Pay on the 1st or 2nd? Well, you're fucked. Based on my experience, you'll get hit with a late fee and have your interest rate shot up to just below 30%. In theory I've just undone all the damage with a phone call (and if I haven't, I have a record of date, time, and who I talked to in order to refund the late fee, readjust my interest, *and* return my payment date to what it's supposed to be.)
Only beware the sting i' the tail, because that last one? She could only adjust my payment date back for *August.* So if you make the phone call now and *don't* pay the earlier time for next month, it's all going to happen again.
