Well, that lasted a week!

Aaaaand I'm unresigned from Reviewing the Evidence. Actually, we've reached a compromise: I'm not an active reviewer, but I promise to send in stuff if there's something that really deserves a review.

Thing is, I haven't burned out on Holmes or forensics or meta about mysteries (books about the history of Nancy Drew or biographies of Doyle/Sayers/whoever), and those also count for RtE, as does any other genre as long as there's a puzzle or a corpse in the plot.* It's just cozies that are giving me a rash.

So in other words, I only have to review what I *want* to read/listen to, and send 'em in on my own schedule. Sweet!

I just wrote a whole rant and deleted it, because right now the world doesn't need more ranting... even about whackaloon judges spoon-feeding the defense team a way out of an open-and-shut premeditated homicide case.

Instead, I'm taking a deep breath and passing on the most adorable thing I've read in a while: David Tennant's fanfic letter to his own younger self about getting to play the Doctor. It's part of the DVD box set of the specials, available in the US 2/2/10 according to Amazon.
