There was a Pledge-a-Picket, but the members of San Diego Comic Con pulled out all the stops in counterprotest when Fred Phelps & his "church" of hate picketed SDCC.

The Phelps clan has been picketing funerals and schools for so long they probably weren't expecting their victims to cheerfully drown them out by shouting "What do we want? Gay sex! When do we want it? NOW!"
