More on epub reading in iOS 10.5

As you know, ibooks has frelled my internet porn self-epubbed fanfic with the upgrade and apparently it hosed Stanza as well. I took a look at the apps mechturtle is looking into, but right now I'm going to cautiously throw my lot in with the free app eBookS Reader. Non iTunes website here, and you'll notice my first problem right off, as I speak only two full sentences of German.

So why cast my vote on a wing and a prayer?
- It's free
- It works with iOS 10.5
- Unlike ShuBook, it comes only loaded with two books, one of which is the manual. I don't like wading through suggested content for the content I want to see.
- I loaded one of the hosed epubbed fics onto it and was able to see both cover and text.
- You can apparently drag and drop files into it

On the downside,
- I'm on my own trying to figure out how to use it
- It doesn't look like it loads from iTunes' book section, so I'm going to have to re-upload all my fic via the app. If it tries to back said fic up, it's going to blow the buffer on this ancient computer. (When I load stuff into VLC, I have to load it, watch it, and delete it before the next upload. I do NOT want to be in that position with my fanfic!)
