Book musings

I am just terrified that a search for "literature" as an LJ interest brings up a community titled do_me_aragorn.
Which has little to do with this post, but I just had to mention it. Anyway, I've been thinking of the Public Domain Gazette (remember that idea?) and book clubs and online libraries, and even though the half-life of an LJ community is usually measured in nanoseconds, I wondered:
Would anyone be interested in the Public Domain Virtual Book Club? The idea being that members would link to online works, for a combination recommendation/discussion. All the ideas I have so far are for short stories, which would make it fit more neatly into the distracted lives that we all tend to have.
Another way of phrasing it, I guess, would be as a short story version of the 50 Book Challenge - read 50 classic short stories a year.
Is anyone interested, or is it just me?
