This Weekend I Need To:
Call
shayheyred and bounce alternate weekend dates off her
Put my renfaire stuff away (*sniff*)
Type and deliver the review I drafted a week ago
Put the spring/summer wardrobe away and pull out, clean, and prepare the fall/winter clothes
Assess which clothes I don't fit/don't need and set aside for Katrina/Rita donations
Vacuum everywhere downstairs
wash my sheets and shower curtain
wash my bathroom rugs and towels
sweep kitchen and bedroom
dust downstairs
clean the bathroom, including
- pouring draino down the shower drain
- scrubbing down the shower
wash all combs and brushes
empty all trash
bag up the overflowing newspapers for recycling
empty the "take this stuff upstairs" basket
clear off the stuff piled on the kitchen table
repot 3 rosemary plants
cook for the halloween party
cook for the halloween buffet at work
find out what I need to cook for Thanksgiving
repackage all the flour/sugar/etc. in the kitchen into more ergonomic containers
send my parents a Christmas wishlist (their request)
pay for the items I've won on
4goodcauses
skim 2 halloween-themed romances
pick the next review book
redd up a bit in the library
fill up the CD holder with the next installment of Shakespeare: Words and Action
order next three Teaching Co classes
- The Making of the New Testament Canon
- American Religious History
- The Lives and Works of the English Romantic Poets
Organize recipes for retyping during November
catch up email, including
- updating Shore Leave webpage
- comments on Team Wench Bylaws
Attend Halloween party
If I have time, I need to go through the overflowing magazine basket and gut the magazines down to just the articles I want to read. They'll be thrown into the Thanksgiving pre-packing basket, where I'll start randomly throwing things I want to be sure to remember to take on vacation.
This is why I really love the renfaire. When it's running, there's one day per weekend when I don't have to be a responsible adult.

Knocking? Nope!
Date: 2005-10-28 04:42 pm (UTC)5:30pm: Occupant (but not car) left. Yep, still at work (or at least not home yet.
1:30am: Occupant arrived back. Imagine that, you were in bed.
6:30am: Occupant stumbled out to car & both left for home (after catching about 4 hours of sleep).
Nope... didn't knock. :-S
Re: Knocking? Nope!
Date: 2005-10-28 04:48 pm (UTC)But FYI, at 6:30, you'd have gotten me awake and dressed. I get up at 5:30 and leave the house around 6:40. (This is why I'm not a night person.) And I get home soon after 5, if I'm not running errands.
