Good golly, the London/Cardiff trip may just be falling into place. *blink* There's a certain disbelief that it was ever going to happen at all, and now this time next week (looks at clock, does calculation) I'll probably have seen Westminster and the Globe and be walking purposefully towards the bookstores...

Have yet to hear back from seti_drd or patsyrant, but if they're amenable to my suggestions, then instead of pelting through the city there'll be a cozy meetup and a nice long museum ramble with Seti, followed by a nosh with Patsy, followed by a fairly leisurely trip to the bus station and a hopefully painless trip up to Cardiff.

doctorwho_meets is now updated with info so that Seti and I can join in the squeeing mob group festivities. I'm thinking that we'll have just enough time to catch the Impressionists, shop our way back to the hotel through Queen's Arcade, Victorian Market, and "Hendricks," and drop off our stuff before meeting everyone for dinner. They've even posted a color-coded marked map, which makes me love them forever, even though I've printed mine in black and white because I'm too impatient to wait to get to my color printer at home.

I love it when a plan comes together!

Honestly THE places I want to go first are all the bookstores! Knowing me, if I didn't go to Westminster and the Globe first, I probably wouldn't make it at all. (hey, at least they're all open late into the evening!)

The Vic and Albert though... such good times there, I remember. And a museum store to drool over, if I recall correctly!

PS - got *nothing* scheduled for Sunday, and all the bookstores will be open! Just in case we have any money left at all...
