My review for Organize Your Corpses is up on Reviewing the Evidence.

Also, I found the TSA "Hi, we riffled through your bag" note at the bottom of the Barbie Memorial Suitcase when I unpacked. And I do mean *bottom* - they took stuff out to put it in. I suppose that a brand-new, eye-catching suitcase full of plastic rectangles (it had all three bento boxes, plus books, plus the huge cardboard box with M's birthday present) might raise eyebrows at the scanner. But I'm still a bit miffed.

However, there's nothing missing and very little disarranged. Still glad I put the foil pouches in my carryon, though.

When I went to Canada on business, I put the "presentation" laptop in my suitcase. Needless to say, I was "randomly selected" to have my luggage searched. The TSA card they put in said that my suitcase had been "inspected and carefully re-packed."

It looked like it had been re-packed by an irate orangutan. :-/.

They managed to get everything more or less back into its original place, but then all the boxes had been fit together like puzzle pieces. I was a bit surprised to find the slip of paper, and disconcerted that it was several layers down in my stuff.

And THAT- along with the F(*^^ing strip search they put respectable people through, is why I will not fly commercial again- if I can POSSIBLY help it- until this stupidity is stopped. Private flights, or I'll drive -Thank you very much.

Bull yes, but I'm getting too old to do 12-hour drives on my own, and I'm too poor for private planes. Still, given the chance I'll drive rather than fly (as I did to M*W).

Yeah- the private planes are a bit out of MY price range as well, So I set it as a goal and aim to be rich enough that I can do that sort of thing... :)
It's GOOD to have goals, right?

And True- the 10-12 hour drives - going solo, are a pain in the A$$, Literally. but if it's the only way I'm gonna see family reasonably, then - That's what I'll do. (And of course- staying a night in Las Vegas each way,- Darn,- isn't THAT terrible!? :D )

Oh, how annoying! I always feel a little irritated when I don't see the note right away, I feel like they're hiding the fact that they went through my stuff. It's so invasive!
