I like Bollywood, mostly for the bouncy musicals. But I also like horror movies - well the suspense ones, not the Grey's Anatomy "oh, that was a spleen flying by" ones. So I thought it was time to try a Bollywood horror movie. They're not all musical comedies, after all. Hum Kaun Hai looked prime; the plot sounded a bit like my absolute favorite, The Others.
Oh. My. God. It IS The Others! I'm watching The Others, almost word-for-word, in Hindi! (With really bad English subtitles. "Not a single door in this house will open till the time you don't close it properly.")
I can't wait to see if there's a song and dance number!
ETA: There isn't. *pout* Just some wierd subplot about the husband being reincarnated.

It's so wrong and so right at the same time.
I say that as a person who routinely drives into school blasting 'Balle Balle' from Bride and Prejudice on the stereo JUST to fuck with people.

I like "No Life Without Wife," from B&P, but I admit I have trashy taste in music. The lyrics are an offense to Austen, but I like it anyway.

I don't see where this adds anything to the story.
