Seeing my icon building persona next to a picture of myself was a bit of an eyeopener. So I went back and twiddled around some more, then started editing in Photoshop. She still looks better than I do, but she's at least out of the realm of "who is that?"

PS - it's a bitch to try to draw rings in 7 pixels or less!

I need to add a background in Photoshop -- didn't like any of the ones they had available on the site. And I couldn't find a face shape that was quite right. Guess I just don't look like a typical Japanese person -- imagine that! :-) But I think it's close -- what do you think?

Yeah, I couldn't find "my" face either - but I like your icon, I think it's pretty close. Very amused by the soda bottle, the real personalizing touch!
