filkertom, a clip of David Attenborough talking about a Lyre bird. I knew about mockingbirds and have seen footage of one imitating cell phone rings, but the Lyre has them beat, imitating the cameras of the crew that's following it, a car alarm, and a chainsaw.

Odd Job: A lot of these, as work is slowly going to the other editors as my end date approaches. I've been reorganizing my recipes, going through papers, and pitching back catalogs

Declutter: Doing the odd jobs listed above has reduced several stacks of paper of "things to be dealt with"

Indulgence: None in specific, but I'm taking it easy this weekend.

Knitalong: Put the "knitalong" afghan down; started Roma. Spent a couple hours redesigning Roma. Knitted 1 square of 275. Today I'm going to buy the other set of needles I need.

3 Items Dealt With: while clearing through the office, I discovered an old computer case with:
1) A 28.8 modem
2) An AOL v2.0 floppy
and
3) the telephone which one of my ferrets bit a number off the keypad.

All tossed

And my feast gear tray is finding a second life as a tea tray for carrying food to my little nook in the bedroom.
