Just a quick thing as I catch up on tons of posts - Team Wench held it's Sixth Annual Prepare For Faire charity yardsale today. I'm exhausted, I'm sunburned, and I'm thrilled beyond belief that my idea has lived for so long (and equally thrilled that it took life in someone *else's* yard this year, frankly.)

The numbers aren't official yet, but I am allowed to say "extremely successful."

Maximum kudos to our hosts faireraven and acroyear70, who pulled together an amazing event in less than a month.


(And on a different topic, my mother called me and was reading comments from teachers on my high school report cards, which had been archived up in the attic. One of the teachers complains that I got him hooked on Doctor Who! No internet, few VCRs... but we still had PBS!)

I'm glad it was successful in these trying money-scare times. But, after Shore Leave, I think people are saving their pennies for things that really matter to them - and this is one of them.
