It's... odd... this morning. Shore Leave 26 was wrapped up yesterday, and now there's something in me that feels slightly like it's flapping loose. There's nothing I have to *do* anymore. No, I should shift the emphasis. There's nothing I *have* to do outside of the usual housecare/self care/book reviews stuff. Farpoint is over permanently, Prepare for Fair is over and on hiatus for a year, and my second Shore Leave is (as someone put at the meeting) 50 weeks away.
Some of my attention is going to the missionaries; more is going to getting the house in order. Much laundry being done today, and my bedroom is going to be cleaned and decluttered (for the second time this year.) And I'm going to program my new watch.
I'm slightly boggled by my new watch. At almost $70, it's the most expensive one I've ever bought (I have a prediliction for cheap timexes). It's much more feminine than my old one, and smaller - a particularly dainty little Kenneth Cole Reflection model. I don't much like the band, a red leather that goes with nothing I own, but I'm considering making a set of new bands for it. A set of ribbons and clasps won't take more than an hour or so's sewing. But for now, the laundry's buzzing, so adieu...
