There have been some deep, meaningful, and heartbreaking/infuriating links on the flist today.

These three YouTube offerings, swiped from my email, are not. But they're a nice mental break.

Sheep Art I don't know if this is brilliant, mild animal cruelty, what happens when a bunch of Welsh men (judging from their names) get really bored, or all of the above.

Intelligent Waterfall So useless and so very cool.

Mozart on rollerblades I know I keep linking this, but it *never* gets old. (And this link finally gives his name!)

And now a poll: I've narrowed the bedroom paint down to a pale blue (nice and soothing, but turns grey in twilight) and a bright robin's egg blue, which is brighter than I originally had in mind, but is cheerful and stays blue in all lights.

So, one of those polls, as y'all always like having opinions.

Saw the sheep- Can't help but think it was REALLY COOL!!!! And yes- I think they had to be Very Bored Shepherds...

I'd go with the Bright blue- cause I would think that gray/pale blue would get to be a downer, without realizing why.

The pale blue is fairly close to the teal that I've got now, which also turns grey at night. But I want a change. That's the whole point of going to the bother of painting.

OMG! Sheeppong! Now, honestly, it looked a little CGI'd to me, but Sheeppong is a pretty funny idea.

It looked quite CGIed, with the pong and the Mona Lisa - but still awfully interesting. And we at least saw the sheep being worked, so we know it was at least based on something real.

Yeah, I think parts of it were real, and parts CGI (the far shots) but it's pretty funny.

Pale blue with gray tones is a calming color and perfect for a bedroom.
Take from me, I watch alot! of design shows. A lot.
And I took art in college.

I went with the pale blue because I think it gives you more leeway to bring in accent colors and change things up according to whim over time, rather than locking you into one continued style. Um, they probably shouldn't let me watch BHG network any more...

(also, having seen your room, I think the pale blue would work better)

If I feel "locked" I can always buy another couple of gallons of paint - but considering my current fondness for neutrals and greens, I thought the bright blue would be a nice contrast.

*shrug* You asked, I gave my opinion. That's all it was, an opinion.

If I could figure out what I really wanted, I wouldn't have posted a poll.

I wish I could give links to the colors for a better evaluation, but I looked for them online and neither one looks the way it does in the paint chip.

That sheep art's fantastic, but they clearly suffer from TMToTH (Too Much Time on Their Hands) Syndrome!

I had a pale blue bedroom when I was growing up, and it could be rather cold and dismal on grey days. (And blue is my favorite color.) The robin's egg sounds warmer.

I'm a bit put off from the paler shades because the previous color I liked so much was too grey when it went on the wall.
