My reviews for Roadside Crosses and Clubbed to Death are up at Reviewing the Evidence.

Not sure I can find an actual 7 this week, although it's been busy.
1 - Delivered 3 reviews to USF
2 - Swapped storm doors for screen doors
3 - Moved & culled SF books in the TBR bookshelf
4 - Culled through remaining books to go to the Book Thing
5 - Decluttered for 1 hour in basement & library
6 - Hosted SG-1 RPG.

No new recipe.

And that's about it. It would count as 7 if I listed each review on its own, but I've been working long hours so I could take off half Friday without taking vacation time. I needed it to oversee the oil company guy who was servicing the boiler, but I also used it to get little things done, the sort of stuff that doesn't show up here.

Today, I think I'm going to cancel my order of the Torchwood books from Waterstones Now this is special. Waterstones says they've shipped every book in the order and have no email address or shipping date for them. From this end, they only sent one and they didn't combine the shipping, so I've paid about 3x what it's worth! And now I have to pay overseas phone rates as well to yell at them! For all the complaints about Amazon as a company, they've never made it this hard to find out when orders were shipped or forced me to make overseas phone calls to fix things.

And in about 90 minutes - I've slept *very* late! - people will be showing up for a trip to the Walters Museum. So I need to look up the driving directions.

I must say I've rarely had any problems with Amazon. Never bought online from Waterstones - just in their shops occasionally. Their staff, though, are pretty useless! :(

I had to go to Waterstones once before, for a book Amazon couldn't seem to manage to get. But this is ridiculous! No shipping notice, no way of asking via email - this is the last time I buy from them online. (It doesn't help that the one book I have gotten - The House That Jack Built - keeps referring to the other two books that are MIA. I wanted to read them first.)

Well, I'll hopefully get some answers tomorrow morning; I'll call in just before I go to work, which'll be afternoon your time anyway. Hopefully they'll let me know when they were shipped... or let me cancel.
